Just For Dads

Let's face it, most dad's are concerned about things going wrong and there being an emergency. Typically birth is safe and midwives are trained to see the "yellow light" before it gets to a red light. Midwives are also trained in emergency situations such as torrential hemorrhages, CPR, and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) If we need the hospital, WE GO! 

Whether In Home or Hospital, some dad's find themselves not knowing what to do. In the home birth setting, we all work together as a team to help the birthing person get through labor, most of the time this looks like, just being close and quiet, or hip squeezes, or helping them vocalize through each contraction. Our goal is to believe in your partner and trust the process.

Don't worry, we got you! While you and your partner are enjoying the newest member of your family, the assistants and midwives are cleaning, preparing a meal, and putting the area back together how it was. 

Vibrant Life Midwife is upfront with their costs. While most insurances don't cover homebirth, it can be covered by HSA or FSA. The only things not covered under the fee are the birth kit ($52), pool liner ($50), and Supplements that may be needed during pregnancy. Vibrant Life also takes payment plans!
